St. Anne’s Hill is tucked just off US-35, east of I-75 — minutes from Wright-Patt Air Force Base, the University of Dayton, Miami Valley Hospital, and downtown Dayton. You can stroll to some of the city’s best spots for coffee, bites, and brews right on E. Fifth Street — including Fifth Street Brewpub, Gem City Catfé, The Ugly Duckling, and Adelaide’s Wholesome Baked.
St. Anne’s Hill Historic District is one of Dayton’s true gems — a close-knit, creative community that loves its history and its get-togethers. The neighborhood hosts monthly socials, Dayton PorchFest, Dayton Liederkranz-Turner German Club Picnic, and our annual spring brunch. Every other year, we celebrate with the Dickens of a Christmas Home Tour and Garden Tour, raising funds to keep our parks and historic charm thriving.
Dating back to the 1800s, St. Anne’s Hill is Dayton’s second-oldest historic district — a leafy, walkable neighborhood filled with beautiful Victorian homes and architectural character. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1986, our 14-block district features more than 300 lovingly preserved buildings and tree-lined streets that come alive in every season.
